Let the number of copies sold be X.

Then,  100000×0.8 + (X - 100000)×0.6 = 260000

or,  80000 + 0.6X - 60000 = 260000

or,  0.6X = 260000 - 80000 + 60000

or,  0.6X = 240000

or,  X = 240000/0.6 = 400000 copies
